CAUCUS

JANUARY 13, 2009

 

1.      CALL TO ORDER.  Chairman Dale Beske called the Caucus to order.  Present:  Dale Beske, Sarah Shapiro Hurley, Jim Lunde, Kim Sime, Dawn George, Milt and Vicky Sperle.

 

2.  ELECT CAUCUS CHAIRMAN AND APPOINT TELLERS TO BE USED IF NEEDED.  Nominations for Chairman were opened.  Kim Sime nominated Sarah Shapiro Hurley for the position of Caucus Chair; seconded by Milt Sperle.  No further nominations were received; Sime and Sperle moved to close the nominations for Caucus Chairman and cast a unanimous ballot for Sarah Shapiro Hurley; motion carried.

 

3.   NOMINATIONS:

     A)  TOWN CHAIRMAN:  Milt Sperle moved to nominate Dale Beske, seconded by Jim Lunde; No further nominations were received; Sime and Lunde moved to close the nominations for Town Chairman and cast a unanimous ballot for Dale Beske; motion carried.

 

     B)   TOWN SUPERVISOR:  Dale Beske moved to nominate Milt Sperle, seconded by Jim Lunde; No further nominations were received; Beske and Lunde moved to close the nominations for Town Supervisor and cast a unanimous ballot for Milt Sperle; motion carried.

 

     C)  TOWN CLERK -   Kim Sime moved to nominate Dawn George, seconded by Beske; No further nominations were received; Jim Lunde and Kim Sime moved to close the nominations for Town Clerk and cast a unanimous ballot for Dawn George; motion carried.

 

     D)  TOWN TREASURER:  Dale Beske nominated Kim Sime, seconded by Milt Sperle; No further nominations were received; Beske and Sperle moved to close the nominations for Town Treasurer and cast a unanimous ballot for Kim Sime; motion carried.

 

D)    CONSTABLES:

      Dawn George nominated Denise Markham, seconded by Dale Beske;

      Dawn George nominated Shawn Hillestad, seconded by Kim Sime;

No further nominations were received Dale Beske and Milt Sperle moved to close the nominations for Town Constable and cast a unanimous ballot for Denise Markham and Shawn Hillestad; motion carried.

 

4.   ADJOURNMENT.  2009 Caucus adjourned on motion and second by Lunde and Beske.
