Special Rutland Board Meeting

June 22, 2009 – 5:30 p.m.

USH 14/STH 138 Bike/Pedestrian Path Option #4 and Landscaping Options

Village of Oregon

 

The Rutland Town Board met with the Village of Oregon to discuss options and possibly take action for the proposed Bike Pedestrian Paths and Landscaping options along with possible maintenance agreements.  Present were Chairman Dale Beske, Supervisors Milt Sperle and Jim Lunde; Supervisor Sarah Shapiro Hurley was not present.

 

After discussion, the board agreed to enter into agreement with DOT and Village regarding bike path under the roundabouts.  Sperle moved to forward the draft agreement to Town Attorney Al Reuter for review; seconded by Lunde; motion carried 3-0.

 

There will be another meeting (joint Town/Village) next Monday, June 29^th at 5:30 to continue discussion on the $140,000 CSD money.  At least one Village Board member wants some fancy landscaping.
